Taking a breather in San Francisco

My oldest friend (oldest, as in we’ve been friends for 12-13 years), Kathy, temporarily relocated to San Francisco recently.  As soon as I heard this, I, being the committed traveler and explorer friend that I am, planned my trip to visit her before she even bought her own tickets :)  Now, it’s August and it’s crunch time.  I have not been doing anything else but my project at home and sometimes even at work.  The deadline is getting closer and I am getting more anxious.  So this trip could not have been planned at a worse/better time.  I don’t know that I can afford to take off for a weekend (and I’m not, completely… some of the project is coming with!) but man, do I need a break.  Anyway, I’ve been feeling great (or as great as one could feel when going on 4-5 hours of sleep per night for the past week and a half) all this week and rocking my travel swag.  I’ve got my travel necklace on, as well as the two bracelets I received on my trips to Honduras, reminding me of the high I get when I get to see new places, meet new people and see what the world looks like outside of my every day bubble :)    Looking forward to exploring a city that has been calling my name since last year and seeing old friends :)  If you’ve ever met me, you know that I go NOWHERE without my camera, so it will be safe to assume that my upcoming posts will be filled with the magic that I captured in San Francisco :)  And even safer to assume that this magic will pop up in my artwork in the future!
