Every once in a while, my friend Saumbera will send me a link to some great artist or photographer. I’m not sure if she knows, but I keep all of them and wait to share them :) (thanks Saumbera!). Anyway, I thought this project called Touching Strangers by Richard Renaldi was great. Renaldi pairs up complete strangers in his photographs, although you would never know it just by looking. Here’s a video about the book that will be coming out this April:
I love this idea if only because it brings people together that may pass each other every day but never have the chance to meet. There’s something so great about making these connections, however fleeting, and realizing that we all have more in common than we think. I’m including a couple photographs below, for more, visit Richard Renaldi’s website.
